After 2-Day Jharkhand Trip, Odisha CM Mohan Majhi To Fly To Delhi Tomorrow

Bhubaneswar: After a trip to Jharkhand, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi will embark on a two-day visit to Delhi from Wedesday to woo investors for the 4th edition of Utkarsh Odisha: Make in Odisha Conclave, the state’s flagship global investors summit, slated to be held in Bhubaneswar on January 28-29, 2025.

Majhi will be accompanied by a delegation of the state Industries Department.

A delegation of Odisha government will host an interactive session led by the CM at Hotel Taj on October 3, according to the invite issued by Principal Secretary, Industries, Hemant Sharma.

It will be held in collaboration with Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) to know about the investment opportunities in Odisha. “We believe that this will provide an excellent opportunity to meet with the new leadership of the state government,” it added.

While unveiling the logo for the investment summit on September 27, Majhi reiterated Odisha’s commitment to achieving its industrial ambitions through visionary policies, improved infrastructure, and a business-friendly environment. He also outlined several ambitious initiatives his government has undertaken, including the development of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME) parks in each district, the establishment of an FDI Park, multimodal logistics parks, and new industrial corridors aimed at fostering a thriving industrial ecosystem.

The Make in Odisha initiative is an attempt by the state to attract global and national investors in sectors like manufacturing, infrastructure, textiles, food processing and technology.

The CM is currently on a pre-election campaign tour in Jharkhand and is scheduled to return to Bhubaneswar tonight.
