Bhubaneswar: The night temperature is likely to drop by 2-3 degree Celsius during next 2 days and then gradually rise by 3-4 degree Celsius at many place in Odisha, the India Meteorological Department informed on Thursday.
The mercury may drop to 20 degree Celsius and below in Bhubaneswar and Cuttack during this period.
While shallow to moderate fog may persist in South Coastal Odisha, Ganjam, Gajapati, Kandhamal, Koraput, Kalahandi, and Nabarangpur during next two days, the weather agency has also forecast rain for two days from February 11.
Notably, Cuttack and Nayagarh had witnessed dense fog this morning. Korput was the coldest at 11 degree Celsius and the only place in the state to record below normal temperature. Bhubaneswar and Cuttack recorded 20.9 and 20.5 degree Celsius, respectively.

Light to moderate rain/thundershower may occur at one or two places over the districts of Nuapada, Bargarh, Balangir, Jharsuguda, Sonepur, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Angul, Dhenkanal, Mayurbhanj, Boudh, Jajpur, Bhadrak, and Balasore districts.

Light to moderate rain/thundershower is likely at one or two places over the districts of Nuapada, Bargarh, Balangir, Jharsuguda, Sonepur, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Angul, Dhenkanal, Mayurbhanj, Boudh, Jajpur, Bhadrak, and Balasore districts.
