New Delhi: Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leader and former Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao’s daughter K Kavitha was on Saturday remanded in Enforcement Directorate (ED) custody till March 23 in the money-laundering case linked to the Delhi liquor policy scam.
The ED had sought 10-day remand for Kavitha, who was arrested on Friday evening from her Hyderabad residence and flown to the national Capital.
Senior Advocate Vikram Chaudhary, appearing for Kavitha, accused ED of violating Supreme Court guidelines while arresting her. Kavitha said it was “an illegal arrest, we will fight it out.”
