New Delhi: Jasprit Bumrah’s India has beaten Pat Cummins’ Australia by 295 runs in the first of five-match Test series at the Optus Stadium in Perth on Monday.
Chasing 534 runs in the second innings Australia captiulated for 238 runs with Japrit Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj and Washington Sundar picking three wickets each. Harish Rana picked up the final wicket to close out the innings.
Jasprit Bumrah picked up eight wickets in the match. The other top performers for India in the game are Yashasvi Jaiswal and Virat Kohli who chipped in with tons in second innings.
