Keonjhar: A couple and their son-in-law died as two motorcycles collided head-on near Padmapur Gate in Anandpur area of Odisha’s Keonjhar district on Friday.
The deceased have been identified as Sahadev Behera, his wife Chandini Behera and their son-in-law Abhiram Behera of Kalabila village under Ghasipura police limits in the district.
According to sources, the accident took place around noon when a speeding motorcycle collided with their two-wheeler. The trio fell off the bike and sustained critical injuries. While one among them died on the spot, the others were rushed to the Anandpur hospital, where the other two succumbed to their injuries.
Police have seized the bikes and started an investigation.
