Bhubaneswar: Members of Bhubaneswar Ladies Circle (BLC) 12, a civil society, have donated 170 books of ‘Biswa Sahitya Granthamala’ to Syed Mumtaz Ali School recently as part the International Literacy Day celebration.
These books are abridged versions of world literature classics in Odia and are extremely hard to come by and source. “We contacted the publisher in Cuttack who arranged for a set for us. In addition to this, we also donated some English language books to their library,” said the members.
Among others, Project Convenor LMF Cr. Chandni Saklani, Secretary Cr. Ridhima Agarwal and Chairperson LMF Cr. Tania Khosla Taneja were present.
