Bhubaneswar Ladies Circle extends helping hand

Bhubaneswar: The Bhubaneswar Ladies Circle (BLC)-12 has donated 100 kg of rice to the Robin Hood Army for onward distribution among poor in rural areas.

In order to commemorate BLC 12’s 100th meeting on August 10, the organisation extended help to the Robin Hood Army that has been at the forefront of trying to reduce hunger in rural and urban areas.

“It is a matter of great pride to be associated with Robin Hood Army. Their goal this Independence Day is ’10 days, 1000 villages and 10 million meals’. To support this initiative, the ladies of BLC 12 donted 100 kg of rice,” the members of BLC 12 said.

Sometimes even a little goes a long way and BLC 12 hopes to do a lot more in the coming years, they added.
