CAO holds seminar on water management

Bhubaneswar: The Catering Association of Odisha (CAO) on Wednesday organised a seminar on preservation and management of water on the occasion of its 7th Annual General Body Meeting (AGM) at Bhubaneswar Grand here.

Gracing the occasion, President of Federation of All India Caters (FAIC) Narendra Somani, General Secretary Kirit Budhdev, South Zone Chairman Atul Meheta and West Zone Chairman Sunil Sunkhiya praised the CAO leaders for the initiative.

“When the world is facing impact of global warming, being the sensible members of Caterer Association of Odisha, we can’t remain silent. In our country, many states have witnessed the crisis of drinking water. We must save water while preparing food during social functions,” said CAO President Binaya Bhusan Patnaik. 

CAO Secretary Debi Prasad Rath urged the members to create awareness among the customers to use water judiciously during the social functions. More than 500 members from different districts of the State actively participated in the day long program. 

Among others, Chairman Anup Bagai, treasure M Jay Prasad Rao, patron Naba Ranjan Patnaik, members of CAO Prabodha Das, Guru Charan Das, Satyajit Mohanty,  Kishore Chandra Dehury , Dhirendra Kumar Kar and Sabaysachi Swain were present.
