Bhubaneswar: Results of the annual higher secondary (Plus II) examination conducted by the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) and Class X (matric) examination the Board of Secondary Education (BSE) by will be declared on May 26 (Sunday). For the first time, the CHSE will declare the results of arts, science, commerce and vocational streams on the same day.
“The Class X results will be declared at 10 am after a go-ahead from the examination committee, which will meet at 9 am and analyse the results. Students can check their scores online by visiting the official website bseodisha.ac.in or orissaresults.nic.in at 11.30 am. The headmasters of all schools can download the TR of the students by 12.30 pm. The digital certificate can be downloaded from BSE’s official website by 4 pm,” BSE vice-president Nihar Ranjan Mohanty told the media on Friday.
The students can also download the certificate via WhatApp number 7710058192. To know the result via SMS, they can send a message OR10 (roll number) to 5676750. Students can apply for re-checking from May 29 to June 12, Mohanty added.
A total of 5,51,611 students had registered to appear for the matric board exam 2024, which was conducted between February 20 and March 4.
Plus II Results:
Similarly, the Plus-II results will be announced on the CHSE office premises in the afternoon. The CHSE informed that the students can access their results by visiting the official website, www.orissaresults.nic.in. Besides, students can also get the results through their high school e-space and from Digilocker.
Around 3.84 lakh students appeared for higher secondary (Plus II) examinations in science, commerce, arts, and vocational streams. The examination started from February 16 and concluded on March 20 at 1,160 centres across Odisha. The evaluation of answer papers started from March 22 in both online and offline modes. For science, commerce, MIL and other language papers, evaluation was done in online mode while for arts (humanities) and vocational subjects, there was offline evaluation.
Last year, CHSE announced the Class XII results of science and commerce streams on May 31 and arts, and vocational streams on June 8. In science, 84.93% students passed while the percentage was 81.12% and 78.88% in commerce and arts streams.
