Bhubaneswar: For the first time, the National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC), Kaniha has bagged the pollution control appreciation award under healthcare unit category from the Odisha State Pollution Control Board (OSPCB) recently.
The award has been received by ED (TK) N S Rao from Forest and Environment Minister Pradeep Kumar Amat in the presence of Secretary of Forest department Satyabrata Sahoo on September 14.
Among others, Director General of India Meteorological Department (IMD) Dr Mrityunjaya Mohapatra, PCCF (Principal Chief Conservator of Forest), Odisha Debidutta Biswal and Member Secretary of OSPCB K Murugesan were present.
