Bhubaneswar: The annual Plus 2 board examination conducted by the Council Of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) Odisha commenced today with altogether 3,86,250 students appearing for the exams.
The exams will continue till March 20, 2024, and it will be held in one shift, from 10 AM to 1 PM every exam day. The first day of the exams is scheduled for the science students who will write the Odia (Mother Tongue) paper today.
As per the CHSE, question papers for the first ten subjects have already reached the exam hubs across Odisha. A three-tier squad arrangement has been made and there will be no mismanagement of the question papers and exams, asserted the CHSE.
All the exam centres have been under CCTV surveillance. The exams will be streamed live at the CHSE office in Bhubaneswar.
CHSE Examination Controller Ashok Nayak said, “We have sent question papers of the first ten days to their respective exam management hubs. Students should reach the exam centres 30 minutes before the exam starts. We will allow them inside 15 minutes before the exam. Blank answer sheets will be provided 10 minutes before. And the question papers will be provided just five minutes before.”
Nayak also advised the examinees to not pay attention to any purported leaked question paper going viral on social media. The Odisha Plus 2 results 2024 are likely to be released in May 2024.
Last year, Odisha CHSE Plus 2 exams were conducted from March 1 till April 5. While the Plus 2 results 2023 for Science and Commerce were released on May 31, 2023, Plus Two Arts results 2023 came out on June 8, 2023. The overall pass percentage for the Commerce and Science group was 81.12% and 83.93% respectively.
