Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) on Sunday declared the results of Plus II examinations in Arts, Science and Commerce streams.
The results of the Plus II examinations were announced by the CHSE officials at a press conference in Bhubaneswar in the afternoon. The overall pass rate is 80.95 per cent in Arts stream, while in Commerce it is 82.27% and Science pass rate stands at 86.93%, CHSE chairman Ashwini Kumar Mishra said.
This year, the results of Plus II examination for Arts, Science, Commerce and vocational education were announced on the same date. This apart, the pass rate in vocational education was recorded at 68.02%.
Students can also check the results on the official websites of CHSE – chseodisha.nic.in and orissaresults.nic.in. Girl students were stated to have performed better than boys in the Plus II examination this year.
This year, nearly 3.84 lakh students, including 3.59 lakh regular and 25,000 ex-regular students, appeared for the Class 12 board exams at 1,160 test centres across the state.
