Roukela: Police on Sunday busted a fake engine oil manufacturing unit operating from a rented house under Bisra police limits in Odisha’s Rourkela city.
Around 4,000 litres of adulterated engine oil, stickers of various reputed companies, and a large quantity of empty cans were seized during the raid. The accused allegedly sold the counterfeit products in the market with logos of reputed brands, according to sources.
The facility has been sealed and one person detained in connection with the case. The suspect is being questioned to trace the supply chain and identify others involved in the illegal operation, the sources added.
