Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Vigilance unearthed huge assets, including three buildings, two shops and two plots, during simultaneous raids at locations linked to Debasis Sahoo, assistant project manager, Odisha Water Supply & Sewerage Board (OWSSB).
The searches are being conducted by the anti-corruption agency at seven locations in Bhubaneswar, Cuttack and Khurda following allegation of acquisition of assets disproportionate to his known sources of income. Searches continuing and further details are awaited.
During house searches so far, the following assets have been unearthed in the name of Sahoo and his family members;
1.One double storeyed building with area approx 6300 Sqft. at College Road, Jatni, Khurda.
2.Another double storeyed building with area approx 250 Sqft at Sardar Patel Marg, Jatni, Khrda.
3.Triple storeyed (under construction) building with area 4800 Sqft. at Sardar Patel Marg, Jatni, Khrda.
4.Two shops of total size 500 Sqft at Banadurga Market Complex, Jatni, Khurda.
5.Two high value plots in Bhubaneswar & Jatni.
6.Gold ornaments 230 gms.
7.Cash Rs.1,55,540/-.
8.Bank deposits over Rs.20.56 lakhs. Other deposits are being ascertained.
