BCCI announces Indian squad for T20 World Cup 2024

New Delhi: The BCCI has announced India’s 15-member squad for the upcoming ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 which features the inclusion of Virat Kohli. Rohit Sharma will captain the squad for the series to be hosted in the West Indies and the US in June 2024.

A major highlight of the team is the return of Yuzvendra Chahal and a maiden World Cup call-up for Shivam Dube. Hardik Pandya also returns as India’s vice-captain. The BCCI also announced a list of four reserve players – Shubman Gill, Rinku Singh, Avesh Khan and Khaleel Ahmed.
