Chief Minister’s public hearing to reopen on July 15

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi will resume the public hearing at the designated venue in Bhubaneswar from July 15.

A notification, issued by the General Administration and Public Grievance (GA&PG) department on Saturday, said the hearing of public grievances will he held in the Chief Minister’s Grievance Cell in Unit V in the city. The chief minister will attend the hearing from 11 am on the day.

The registration of the people, who want to submit their grievances at the chief minister’s hearing, will be done between 8 am and 12 noon on the same day. The notification has requested the people to register their respective names at the cell for hearing of their grievances.

The chief minister’s public hearing, which is held on every Monday, was closed last on July 8 as the state government had declared it a holiday due to Rath Yatra.

It may be noted that chief minister Majhi resumed the public hearing on July 1 after the BJP government assumed power. Majhi revived the practice in the state after 16 years.
