Curtains come down on 2-day national conference at Utkal University

Bhubaneswar: The two-day National Conference on ‘Governance in India: Priorities, Policies and Prospects’ was concluded at Utkal University here on Saturday with 75 scholars presenting their research findings in five technical sessions.

Organised by the Department of Public Administration and funded by WB-OHEPEE of the university, the academic meet explored the complex dynamics of governance in India, highlighting the key areas for improvement, analyzing existing policies, and envisioning future possibilities for enhancing governance.

On the second day of the conference, the technical sessions were chaired by noted academician Dr. Pratik Kumar Mishra and Associate Professor of Humanities at IIT-Bhubaneswar Dr. Naresh Chandra Sahu.

The valedictory ceremony was chaired by Registrar of Utkal University Dr. Kahnu Charan Dhir with the presence of chief speaker Prof. E. Venkatesu and convener Dr. Pratima Sarangi. Two best presenters got conferred with ‘Best Paper Presentation Award’ and cash prize in the closing ceremony. Organising Secretary Dr. Hemanta Kumar Dash offered the vote of thanks.
