Bhubaneswar: Odisha is unlikely to experience any significant change in the day temperature during the next 4-5 days amid light to moderate rain forecast, India Meteorological Department (IMD) informed on Tuesday.
According to the midday bulletin, rain is likely to continue in the state for four days under the influence a cyclonic circulation over interior Odisha and neighbourhood. There will be a slight rise in the intensity of the spells on March 7.
MARCH 5: Light rain may occur at one or two places in Kandhamal, Rayagada, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Nuapada, Kalahandi, Koraput, and Nabarangpur districts.
MARCH 6: Light rain is likely at one or two places in Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, and Jharsuguda.
MARCH 7: Light to moderate rain/thundershowers may occur at one or two places in North Coastal Odisha, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Sundargarh, Deogarh, Puri, and Khurda districts.
MARCH 8: Light rain/thundershowers may occur at one or two places in Bhadrak, Kendrapada, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Cuttack, Khurda, Ganjam, and Kandhamal.
The weather agency further said that the day temperature is likely to rise by 2-3 degree Celsius thereafter.
