Fresh robbery in Bhubaneswar, valuables looted from 4 flats in Pahala

Bhubaneswar: In a fresh incident of robbery in Odisha capital, burglars again went on a loot spree at the Metro Satellite City apartment complex in Pahala area of the city.

As per information, a gang of burglars looted valuables worth lakhs of rupees from at least four flats in the complex on Tuesday night. Flat owners have alleged that gold ornaments and cash amounting to lakhs of rupees have been looted from their houses.

The loot incidents have been captured on the CCTV cameras and the robbers can be seen entering flats by covering their faces with clothes and later looting valuables.

As per reports, the gang members had earlier targeted other apartments in the city as well. Though the Commissionerate Police had claimed to have nabbed the gang members, a series of robberies took place in the city again.

Notably, some apartment robbers were arrested in the state capital on February 29. The police arrested as many as nine people. The gang is stated to be active in different parts of Odisha and outside the state too.
