Bhopal: The extent to which a man can go to fulfil his carnal desires can’t be imagined till you read this. Posing as a female college teacher by using a voice-changing app, a man trapped seven tribal girls and raped them from January to May in Madhya Pradesh’s Sidhi.
The accused, identified as Brajesh Prajapati, has been arrested and four cases have been registered against him. The accused is in his second remand, The Times of India reported, quoting Sidhi SP Ravindra Verma.
Prajapati called the girls, posing as a female college teacher, and lured them with government scholarships for SC and ST categories. He called them to a spot and told them he was the woman professor’s son. Pretending to take them to the professor, he would offer them a lift on his motorcycle and take them to a deserted jhopri in his farmland and rape them.
The incidents came to light when one among the five survivors, who managed to escape from his clutch, lodged a police complaint. Police found that Prajapati had been luring other girls, too, and arrested him the same evening. During interrogation, police came to know that he had raped seven girls.
The accused, who works as a labourer, learnt how to use the voice changing application on YouTube, police said.
