Naveen’s 3rd roadshow in Bhubaneswar today, know traffic restrictions
Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister and BJD president Naveen Patnaik is scheduled to conduct another roadshow in Bhubaneswar on Wednesday evening.
This will be Naveen’s third roadshow in Bhubaneswar Lok Sabha constituency where polling is scheduled to be held in third-round of elections in Odisha on May 25. The voters of the Assembly segments under the Parliamentary constituency will also exercise their franchise on the same day.
Naveen will start his roadshow to seek votes for BJD candidates from Rental Square in the city. It will culminate at Patia Square.
He will move in his specially-built vehicle during the roadshow which will pass through Petrol Pump Square, Saliasahi, Mayfair, Biju Pattnaik Square, Xavier Square, BDA Sai Temple, Chandrasekharpur Petrol Pump and Damana Max Showroom before reaching Patia Square.
The Commissionerate of Police has issued a traffic advisory to ensure better regulation and free flow of traffic during the roadshow.
- No vehicle is allowed to ply from Rental, Omfed Square to Patia Square via Petrol Pump Square, Saliasahi, Mayfair, Biju Pattnaik Square, Xavier Square, BDA Sai Temple, Chandrasekharpur Petrol Pump, Damana Max Showroom, Patia Square from 5 pm to till the end of the roadshow.
- Vehicles are not allowed from CRP Square to Rental Omfed Square from 5.30 pm and from Jaydev Vihar Square to Biju Patnaik College Square from 6.30 pm.
- No vehicles are allowed from Jaydev Vihar Square towards KIIT Square from 6.30 pm and from KIIT Square to Jaydev Vihar Square from 7.45 pm.
- Ambulance coming from Jaydev Vihar towards Xavier Square will be allowed on the wrong side and take diversion at Xavier Square and avail the left parallel road.
- Ambulance from Nandankanan side towards Jaydev Vihar will be allowed on the wrong side and take diversion at Damana Square and avail the right parallel road.
- Vehicles coming from lanes/bylanes are not allowed to avail these roads from Rental Omfed Square to Patia Square during the roadshow.
Naveen had conducted his first roadshow in the city on May 16 and the second one on May 20 as part of the BJD’s strategy to woo urban voters of Bhubaneswar.
