Odisha Budget 2025: Know the new schemes in the offing

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government on Monday announced many new schemes while presenting the Odisha Budget for the financial year 2025-26. Chief Minister Mohan Majhi informed about the new schemes during the budget presentation in the State Assembly.

While the State government announced Antyodaya Gruha Yojana with a budget allocation of Rs 2603 Cr, Subhadra Surakhya Yojana was announced with a budget allocation of Rs 153 cr.

Shri Jagannath Darshan Yojana and Northern Odisha Development Council scheme were announced with budget allocations of Rs 30 Cr and Rs 200 Cr respectively. Similarly, Odisha Prusti Mission and Bakulabana Unnayan received budget allocation of Rs 100 cr and Rs 50 crore respectively.

CM Majhi announced about Ama Similipal Yojana and Model Mandi scheme with budget outlay of Rs 50 cr each. An amount of Rs 100 crore has been allocated for Saheed Laxman Nayak Adarsh Vidyalaya scheme.

Odia Diaspora: D-Sampark has received Rs 10 cr and Mukhyamantri Kanya Bibaha Yojana has got Rs 12 Cr in the budget. Similarly, Rs 200 Cr has been allocated for Southern Odisha Development Council in the budget.

Swachha Odisha and Aame Padhiba Aama Bhasare have been announced with an allocated amount of Rs 261 Cr and Rs 25 Cr respectively in the State Budget. Similarly, budget allocation of Rs 1266 Cr and Rs 408 Cr have been provided under the new Atal Bus Stand and Samrudha Sahara schemes respectively.
