Odisha CM Mohan Majhi Celebrates Rakhi With His Sister & School Children [In Pics]

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi’s sister Rasamani Majhi tied him rakhi at the event organised at State Guest House in Odisha capital to celebrate Raksha Bandan on Monday.

Girls from schools, colleges and various institutions also attended the event and tied rakhi to ‘Mohan bhai’, who blessed them and gave away sweets and gifts. Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida also tied rakhi to the CM on the occasion.

Sanitation workers of Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC), children of SOS Village in Bhubaneswar, members of Prajapati Brahmakumari and women journalists also attended.

Today we celebrate the sacred bond between siblings along with Gamha Purnami. On his occasion, I would like to wish happiness, peace and prosperity to all the sisters of the state and promise to ensure their safety,” the CM said, while informing that his government is going to implement Subhadra Yojana for them soon.

Schools and Mass Education Minister Nityananda Gond, and Bhubaneswar-Ekamra MLA Babu Singh were present.
