Bhubaneswar: The 207th Board of Directors meeting of Odisha Lift Irrigation Corporation Ltd (OLIC) was held on Friday under the Chairmanship of Anu Garg, Development Commissioner-cum-Additional Chief Secretary, Department of Water Resources, who is also the chairperson of OLIC.
The Board has approved the proposal of tender for installation of 500 solar deep borewells in Kandhamal district, 600 in Mayurbhanj district, 300 in Deogarh district, 700 in Koraput district, 1000 in Nabarangpur district and 1000 in Nuapada district.
The board has also approved recruitment of 261 technical and non-technical personnel against sanctioned vacant posts along with sanction of additional 4 per cent DA in favour of regular employees of corporation with effect from 01.07.2022. Managing Director of OLIC ALok Kumar Kar and other directors were present.
