Likewise, Karthik Biswal will lead Pumas and Suryakant Pradhan has been nominated as the captain of Odisha Lions. The captain of Jaguars is Shantanu Mishra.

The OCA, like in IPL, has arranged red and green caps for maximum wicket takers and highest run scorers. Similarly, OCA has implemented DRS and IMPACT PLAYER rules in this league. All matches will be live-streamed on OCA’s YouTube channel & Facebook page.

The OCA selection committee has selected the promising players of the state and around 40 per cent of new talents who performed well in Kalahandi Cup have joined this league. Three matches will be played every day, Behera said.

If they perform well in this league, they will get an opportunity to play in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. Many new players will come to the fore by playing the T20 format, he maintained.
