Bhubaneswar: Odisha is likely to heave a sigh of relief from scorching heat and humid conditions as the India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Monday predicted rain and thunderstorm activities in different districts in the coming days.
The IMD has also issued a yellow warning for thunderstorm with lightning and gusty surface wind speed reaching 50-60 kmph in some districts till April 5.
Day 1 (Valid upto 0830 hrs IST of 01.04.2025)
Yellow Warning: Thunderstorm with lightning with gusty surface wind speed reaching 30-40 kmph is likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Koraput, Malkangiri, Nabarangapur, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Boudh, Angul, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhargarh, Rayagada.
