Bhubaneswar: In a bid to give a final thrust to BJP’s campaign in the final round of dual elections in Odisha, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address public meetings in three places of the state on Wednesday.
The Prime Minister will come on one-day visit to the state to seek votes for BJP candidates before the campaign ends for the fourth and last phase of Lok Sabha and Assembly elections.
As per the schedule released by BJP’s state unit, Modi will address the election meetings in three districts of Mayurbhanj, Balasore and Kendrapada.
On his arrival in Bhubaneswar around noon, he will fly to Baripada where he will address a public meeting at Chhau Padia at 12.30 pm. From there, he will proceed to Narahari ground at Remuna in Balasore to speak at another public meeting at 2 pm.
Modi will deliver his last address on the day at Barua ground in Kendrapada at 4 pm before flying back to New Delhi.
Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan will also speak at campaign meetings in Nimapada of Jagatsinghpur Lok Sabha constituency at 9.30 am on Wednesday, Kakatpur at 10.30 am, Paradip at 11.30 am, Jagatsinghpur at 12.30 pm, Tirtol at 1.30 pm, Chandbali in Bhadrak at 2.45 pm and Dhamnagar at 4.30 pm.
BJP’s Bhubaneswar MP Aparajita Sarangi will attend a roadshow in Dhamra under Chandbali Assembly seat at 10.30 am on Wednesday and address a public meeting at Bhandaripokhari at 2.30 pm. Odia film actor Sritam Das will also attend roadshows in Bhandaripokhari at 10 am, Khaira and Simulia at 2 pm and in Bhadrak town at 5 pm.
