Bhubaneswar: After resignation of two chief advisors to chief minister’s office (CMO) in Odisha, Manoj Kumar Mishra, principal secretary to Electronics and IT department, resigned from his post on Thursday.
In an official order, the General Administration department said the resignation of Manoj Kumar Mishra, principal secretary, Electronics and IT department, has been accepted by the government with effect from June 4.
Mishra, a 2000-batch IRTS officer, was appointed by the BJD government as Principal Secretary to the Electronics and Information Technology department on contractual basis in 2022. He had resigned from the IRTS while he was working on deputation to the state.
Earlier in the day, retired senior IAS officers Suresh Chandra Mahapatra and R Balakrishnan has resigned as Chief Advisors to the CMO. Mahapatra was posted as Chief Advisor to the CMO and Balakrishnan as Chief Advisor, Special Initiatives.
