Bhubaneswar: Odisha Vigilance has registered corruption cases against 90 state government officials in five months, said Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Monday.
In a written reply to a question of BJD legislator Prarap Dev in the Assembly, the Chief Minister said his government has been following the policy of zero tolerance towards corruption.
“After the BJP government came to power, as many as 90 corruption cases have been filed by the Vigilance in five months. The cases were filed between June and October,” Majhi said.
The Vigilance has filed highest number 20 cases against the officials of Revenue department, followed by 18 cases against those of Panchayatiraj department, he added.
